A sunny deal

We worked for Hanwa Q Cells on the acquisition of the project rights to two UK solar farms, including the re-financing of development costs. Our client acquired the project rights to two solar projects and we undertook due diligence and negotiated the acquisition documentation.

We are currently acting for Hanwa Q Cells on the sale of the projects which will involve negotiating the sale documentation and release of the security taken by the funders.

This has proved a complex and challenging transaction with financing arrangements that are uncommon for a solar project in the UK.
