Double success at RTPI planning awards
Marrons Planning won not one but two trophies at the recent Royal Town Planning Institute East Midlands Planning Awards. As well as being recognised as Consultancy Team of the Year, Senior Planner Jenny Keen also picked up the coveted award for Young Planner of the Year. The awards ceremony, sponsored by Shakespeare Martineau and Waterman, took place at the Nottingham Contemporary on Thursday 2 March.
The annual awards showcase and reward outstanding achievement in the planning profession. They recognise and celebrate those who have excelled in planning in 2016 and have made a positive impact on planning and development.
Facing stiff competition judges highlighted Marrons Planning’s strong professional relationships with established clients arising from an in-depth understanding of their business aims and objectives. David Prichard, Head of Planning at Marrons Planning, said:
“We're delighted to win the Planning Consultancy of the Year award; it reflects the hard work and dedication that all members of the team have put into adding value to our client’s proposals and our effectiveness of responding to issues arising through the planning process.”
“The win demonstrates our commitment to making a real difference to our clients in the projects we're involved in. We will continue to drive the firm forward onto bigger and better things.”
Jenny Keen was awarded Young Planner of the Year with the judges praising her for being a positive role model for all planners, showing her commitment to planning both in her professional work and in her own time.
Commenting on winning the award, Jenny said:
“I am very proud to be working as a planning professional and I feel a great sense of achievement when projects I have worked on come to fruition. I always strive to provide the very best service to my clients and it is truly wonderful to be part of such an amazing team at Marrons Planning.”
