Emma joined the firm having worked as an in house employment lawyer in the public sector for the last 6 years. She works with various clients advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
She deals with tribunal matters often involving multi issue claims such as unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. She also advises on disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE, restructuring, redundancy, policy reviews and drafting and negotiating settlement agreements.
Having worked in local government, Emma has also had particular exposure to the defence and resolution of claims for equal pay.
Emma has a commercial and common-sense approach to resolving client issues.
